Please note the change of name: previously known as "Chatham Lodge," the lodge has been renamed "Henga Lodge" to honour the original inhabitants of these islands and to acknowledge the cultural significance of the Lodge site and the surrounding scenic reserve.

Henga Lodge is owned and operated by Hokotehi Moriori Trust, the organisation that represents the Moriori people. As such, visitors will be treated to the usual delights that Rekohu (Moriori for "Chathams") has to offer but also with the added attraction of authentic, cultural experiences including a visit to the architecturally famous and stunning Kopinga Marae.
